For a small white Maltese with lightly dusty feet, both product pages position their wipes for the ordinary job. Those are product-page facts and manufacturer descriptions, not our test results. “Hypoallergenic,” for example, appears in both brands’ marketing, but it does not guarantee that every individual dog will tolerate every ingredient. Follow the label. For damaged or sensitivity-prone skin, ask a veterinarian first, and stop use if irritation appears.

Earth Rated: a smaller sheet, lower current one-time cost

Earth Rated’s wipe is square and one inch shorter than Pogi’s in a single dimension. On paper that is an eight-square-inch difference: 64 square inches versus 72. In daily life, the importance depends on the dog. A quick pass over four small, lightly dusty Maltese paws may not benefit from the extra material. A large dog, feathered legs, or a damp belly may.

The manufacturer describes the wipe as thick and textured and says the material is USDA Certified 98% Biobased. Its product page lists aloe, shea butter, chamomile, cucumber, pomegranate, and vitamin E among the formula highlights. We would read those as ingredient and construction information, not proof that the wipe moisturizes every dog’s skin in a measurable way.

At the one-time purchase prices we found, Earth Rated costs about four cents less per wipe. That is roughly a $4 difference per 100 cleanups if your routine uses one sheet at a time. A household wiping paws several times a day may notice that; an occasional travel user may care more about the sheet they like handling.

Pogi’s: a slightly larger working area

Pogi’s 8 × 9-inch sheet gives you 12.5% more area than an 8 × 8-inch sheet. Its official page describes a thick, textured bamboo-fiber cloth and lists aloe, vitamin E, awapuhi, and cucumber. The product is offered in fragrance-free and green-tea versions; we are comparing fragrance free because it is the closest match to Earth Rated unscented.

The larger sheet is not automatically better. It is simply more material in your hand. That may help when you are working around a larger pad, between toes, along a feathery leg, or across a dog’s underside after damp grass. For one tiny paw print, it may be unnecessary. This is a workflow difference, not a quality verdict.

Pogi’s one-time purchase price was $4 more for the 100-count pack when checked. Prices change often on Amazon, and Subscribe & Save may show a different price, so compare the live price for the purchase option you intend to use.

What owners’ routines add to the spec sheet

Owner conversations are more useful here for how wipes get used than for declaring a winner. Across recent discussions, people describe two sensible patterns. Some keep dog wipes by the door for a fast pass after nearly every walk. Others reserve disposable wipes for the car or travel and use a damp, washable cloth at home to reduce cost and trash. That is a better decision than trying to interpret isolated comments as a failure rate. Coat length, dog size, local weather, how wet the pack stayed, and how many paws a person expects one sheet to handle all change the report. We did not find reliable comparative testing showing that one of these two cleans better, so we will not invent that conclusion.

The baby-floor routine matters more than the brand

A dog wipe is only one step in a useful entry routine:

1. Create a pause point. Put a washable mat inside the door and teach the dog to wait there. A gate can keep a fast crawler from joining the ceremony.
2. Look before you wipe. Check between toes and around pads for grit, road salt, cuts, redness, or anything sticky. A wipe should not hide an injury.
